 CAP™/CWP™ compared to other methods

The CAP™/CWP™ technology is a breakthrough in Biological Air and Water Treatment.
Our
systems will consume and destroy any organic pollution. Air systems will neutralize charged particles of all sizes and types. They are then drawn into the unit, where specially designed Bio-Enzymes consume and destroy them. Waste water treatment uses the same technology. In many cases water treated with CWP™ may be reused. No filters, no leftover sludge, and in most cases no vents to the outside.

Carbon Filters: Carbon is the most used "filtration" technology on the market today. Carbon has become very expensive and, in some cases, hazardous to dispose. Additionally, it will not remove small particles , nitrates, bacteria, or heavy metals.

HEPA: HEPA is also a very common "filtration" system that is used to clean air. HEPA works like a vacuum, which means the most harmful small charged particles are not captured because they do not move with air flow.

Ozone: Ozone will destroy VOC’s, they will not capture and destroy particulates or gases. Ozone may also cause damage to furniture and is hazardous to humans.

UV: UV will destroy micro organisms such as viruses and mold. This is not effective against gases, particulates or fumes. UV can be harmful to humans on certain wavelengths.

Thermal Oxidation:  Can be vert expensive to operate, sometimes dangerous. Cannot handle sudden feed increases.

Membrane Systems: Used for waste water treatment. These systems have become popular over the last decade. They require disposal of left over concentrate. Membranes need replacement every 4-5 years depending on usage. Flow rate may decline over time. These systems can also use a tremendous amount of electricity.

Ionizer: Ionizers are popular but may not be very effective in cleaning the air.  They create air ions, which change the charge of particles. The particles must come in contact with the ions , which can be difficult. Ionizers are also may produce a small amount of ozone which can be hazardous to humans.
