Clean Water Plant (CWP™)
The Clean Water Plant (CWP™)is the first bio-hygienic system for water that is compact, portable, and works in real time. A CWP™ system is faster and more effective than conventional technologies, saving companies thousands in consumption and treatment costs everyday.
The CWP™is a bio-hygienic system for contaminated water streams including industrial process water, wastewater, and contaminated groundwater. Using the same technology as the Clean Air Plant, CWP units employ an advanced biofiltration technology that has miniaturized the process of biological oxidation, making it faster, safer and less expensive than conventional technologies.
CWP systems are stand-alone units that can be incorporated into an existing process to allow facility operators to reduce water consumption by treating or reusing their process water. Treatment, transportation and disposal (TTD) costs of industrial wastewater are significantly reduced when treated in a CWP™ system.
In ground water applications CWP is proven effective in the clean-up of contamination associated with leaking underground storage tanks and fuel spills. CWP removes fuel additives such as MTBE, BTEX and other chemicals. Their use in spill remediation is far superior to carbon filtration.
CWP™ can eliminate the need for costly vacuum equipment, associated transportation, and disposal. Industrial Water Emissions/Odor Control
Municipal and industrial water treatment facilities are mandated by federal and state guidelines on how to handle wastewater received from industrial customers. The conventional water treatment equipment used to pre-treat water for acceptance by these authorities is expensive and costly to maintain.
A CWP™ provides a single system that makes water treatment a simple, low cost alternative to chemical additives or activated carbon. Many times, water treated by the CWP™ can be reused, eliminating the entire municipal discharge process.
Heavily Contaminated Water Emissions
In industrial processes, such as plating and specialty chemical manufacturing, water may still not be acceptable for disposal at a municipal water treatment facility after conventional treatment.
CWP employed in these highly contaminated processes have proven effective in reducing contamination to acceptable levels for treatment facilities. These results have produced considerable cost savings in transportation and regulatory compliance. Remediation/MTBE
Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), BTX and other hydrocarbons are found in both soil and water. CWP has been used in conjunction with SVE systems to destroy MTBE, BTX and other hydrocarbons. CWP can eliminate or reduce the recurring costs associated with carbon replacement and the high-energy costs associated with catalytic oxidation. Alternative to Carbon
CWP incorporates an innovative spiral-wound element offering an ideal environment for absolute coverage of the bio-enzyme, thus eliminating any opportunity for channeling to occur.
CWP treats contaminants, like polar compounds and formaldehyde, that carbon cannot. Carbon quickly becomes saturated and must be replaced often.
CWP saves on carbon replacement costs and may even be used in conjunction with carbon when a final polishing stage is required.
Some CWP applications include...
· Chemical Manufacturing · Contaminated Groundwater · Farming & Ranching · Fish Tanks, Ponds & Sinks · Gasoline/Petroleum Spills · Industrial Wastewater · Metal Plating · Pesticide Manufacturing · Photography Laboratory · Remediation · Superfund Sites · Waste Treatment Plants · Waste Water Treatment · Wood Treatment
